The Islamic Medical Association of Uganda (IMAU) is a registered non-governmental organization established in 1988. The Association consists of over 300 Muslim health professionals who form the General Assembly, the association’s highest authority. The leadership of the association consists of eleven members of the Executive Committee headed by the Chairman. IMAU has branches in 20 districts of Uganda.
